A tiny note of big thanks to all of Starbound

While I'm completely new on these forums, I've been following Starbound for... well... Long. As a programmer myself I highly appreciate all the fantastic stuff all of Chucklefish does and the amazing communication the developers share with us. I still vividly recall reading the whole technical explanation about the grappling hook. Aaaaanyway....

I just wanted to say: Thanks for Starbound!

I've happily paid for a 4pixel pack and will gladly wait to see Chicklefish make it awesome.

Oh and Tiy? You(and your team) have beaten Peter Molyneux ten times over Don't worry about a thing.

To be fair, he has actually released a game.

 

What's the difference? They both don't deliver what they say they will.

 

It was based on my hatred for one of the greatest games ever to have graced the PC genre could be transformed so much and for so much the worse, That I turned my back on it.

If your unfamiliar with what Im trying to put across, Go grab yourself a cheap copy of Fable: The Lost chapters for PC.
Then go play Fable 3 for the 360.. Its clear which one will have you hooked.

Don't let any of the fools bring you down. Remember that you're making this game because it's the game all you guys dream of. That unique game that doesn't exist yet. Most of us paid for it not because it would make you "our bitches" but because we believe in Chucklefish.

 

Hmn while it is well and good that people are giving thanks, it seems a lot of threads are popping up individually doing so.
Maybe a thank-you sticky is in order?

At this point any time conversation picks up, it seems like one is made.

 

We've still got a fair way to go until the number of these types of threads catches up to the 'Chuckfish Y U no give us beta???' ones.

 

Sometimes it's good for the silent majority of patient, understanding and decent people to speak up and remind Chucklefish that we are still here.

 

And this is exactly why I spoke up. Everyone needs to hear they're doing a good job (if they deserve it) sometimes!

I checked the first page to see if a similar thread was there. It wasn't so I made this. And if all these threads are popping up, maybe the team will finally believe that MOST of us are happy to wait and wonder.
