EHRMAGERRRRRD SPRERNTS! Regarding the death animations, the devs have stated a couple of times since July (when I started seriously following) that they tried exploding body parts before and it looked like crap, so they went to the *poof gone* animation as a stopgap. They said they would look at it again sometime in the future.
I wonder how many takes that gif took to look that good, or are the Starbound team just amazing players?

Hooray for mobility tech! My one hope is that it's possible to have all the mobility tricks active. Back in Terraria I always wanted to have cloud in bottle + boots + wings, etc, but sometimes you had to give one of them up for something more vital. I'm not saying it was unfair, but boy I was loathe to give up any of those mobility boosters.

I see the sword being held in the left hand, then in the right hand during the slashes. Is this planned? Nice work on the dash, a little mobility on melee is nice I shall call it... Slash Dash. We need an Excalibur armor.
I wonder if it would be possible to make the afterimages by making silhouette of the character's sprite in that frame and colorizing it instead using a generic sprite. It would look way better.
The dash effect is realy nice !!! Good job as always ! But what about 2nd tier did u finish it are you working at third tier ? Update are cool but talking about new mobs or new stuff doesn't really show us where u really are in game progresses ...
