The game says there will be cake, but there actually isn't, except there is. (Where have I heard that before?)

 

Love the neutrality system here! Would be really interesting to see in the future how two different factions interact with each other too, sending their own mobs at each others throat.

 

Monsters in the world attacking each other. Oh man, have i been waiting for this.

 

I'm gonna create a mod for be able to create an arena (I think this is the good word) so all kind of monsters and npc spawn there...
so i will just have to take the popcorn and watch.

 

Awesome! I'm glad the village guards are getting a bit smarter. Adds to the realistic-y feel of the game.

 

Since the pic is a shrine or whatev I have decided that it is inactive.

and I think the activated "Shrine" will look something like this

 

OH NO! Those fountains in Dungeons of Dreadmor had a tendency of containing only ACID! for me.. I've died so many times to those fountains.. this may make me a little timid when accessing these capsules.

NPCs and monsters fighting each other even great!

I played terraria for a long time now even up until now as of the lastest update 1.2...
I was very disappointed on the fact that the hallow and corruption monsters were not fighting.

But anyways good update again

Fountains get you water which sometimes have weird effects. For example, in Nethack, quaffing from a fountain (the command was "q") can give you "bad breath" which scares lesser monsters, making them less likely to attack. Shrines you could offer corpses to your character's god, and sometimes (if the corpse was fresh enough/high value enough) you could get benefits like a free blessing on your weapon or armor, some free intrinsic trait, or whatever. If the shrine was counter-aligned, there was a chance you could convert the shrine, which would make your god happy, or he may thing you were offering to his enemy, which may make him wide-angle-disintegration-beam your ass.

 

Ha! I like how Tiy was talking about details of "THE Avian Airships" like we already know what they are...

Also, I've narrowed my guesses to what's in the super secret capsules to either a Penguin Monstrosity or a Space Genie!

 

I can't be the only one who wants to make a gladiatorial arena.

 

Or maybe a Penguin Genie. Or a Genie monstrosity.

Well if there is one thing we all love, it's a good surprise.

 

First time I saw that picture I thought activating imaged device will cause your face to be ripped off.

 

Can somebody explain what this floating fridge or "fountain" is suppose to do? Some sort of gamble of some sort from what I have read.

Also I NEED SPOILERS ON WHAT THESE AVIAN AIRSHIPS ARE SUPPOSED TO BE.
