If you look in the Arcade Room, the arcade machine against the wall actually looks like it has the "Starbound" logo on it. Y'know, with the curved line.
Makes me think of my civilizations in Spore. "Praise be the the mighty god of television." And I totally agree, and dig it. (Also mall = dungeon? For me it is.)
The history for Minecraft is much more interesting than that. Minecraft didn't do anything radically new besides create the market. Also Starbound has Terraria's artist so i kinda don't feel that's even worth replying to.
How about if you try to destroy a wall separating you from the sea, alarms go off and alerts the guards who swarm you like in the update for attacking NPS's. Ooh or how about laser turrets coming from the ceiling to blast you, or cute little kiddies in the arcade begging you not to kill them... nah that one wouldn't work.
