It seems to be in News on my end. Might be a problem on your end, or you're looking at the wrong thing. I've been known to do that.
I Do believe it is the different chat channels, or something of the sort. For example what is selected would be Galactic Channel chat in there and anyon in the galaxy can hear you. And then it can go down from there, Galactic, System, Planet, Local, and maybe mor or less.. I just do hope I'm right. If I am mistaken sorry for the mis-information.
The screenshots are beautiful! Can't wait for the beta test! But I'm a bit nervous about the star-colored lightings. It would be sad if this colours will destroy all the work that you guys have done on the colours of objects and staff like that!

Awesome lighting, very moody Y'know, looking at time of day screenshots has got me wondering... How long will days last in Starbound? Somehow I'd like it if they lasted at least a bit longer than in most similar games (20 minutes in Minecraft, 24 minutes in Terraria). I don't suppose anybody has timed that from one of the livestreams?
