Has anyone posted the Benny Hill Theme to that gif yet? I'd be surprised if they didn't:

I noticed a small problem with the glitch villages.



The physics for walking over blocks of certain sizes, causes the character to step upwards farther than one block on these platforms used for roof design.
Time for a shingles block? (Maybe?) Unless these are actually stairs. I can't tell from the gif.

 

Those are indeed Stairs. They are built by laying out Wood Platforms in a diagonal formation.

 

I can't tell if that's sarcasm or not, so I'll assume it's not.

What I meant by "Stairs" is if it actually serves the purpose of stairs, to elevate? Or are they simply decor? Not meant to serve any real function?

I know they're wood platforms, I've played Terraria a lot.

 

I meant no sarcasm. I was just trying to be helpful. Yep, those are serious actual Stairs ya can walk up & down functionally.

 

I mean the reason they are there (in the village design)... Decor or function?

 

Oh, that's what ya meant... that might be a question for the Devs then.

 

Read the lore, you will find why the Glitch are called like this and why they are more interesting this way.
