When I get excited about Starbound I too eat invisible cereal! Looking forward to getting my hands on it and sell candy in my spaceship-that-has-been-tricked-out-to-look-like-an-icecream-truck. Cheers, see *njah*
Starbound could totally setup for blackmarket NPCs... >.> Shifty shadowy NPCs that wave to you and follow you through town, trying to catch your eye. That or kidnappers... *Hey come to my shop*, BOOM kidnapped and dropped off at a different planet or town, missing a kidney or some other items.. Like inventory items... >.> Mr. Burns Moment: "Excellent."
I love it, time to host a large marketplace myself and sell lots and lots of stuff to everyone who joins my server or area.
For being such a seemingly small thing, the merchants asking you to come to their shop and leading you there is such a nice touch. That was surprisingly impressive to me.
"Follow me to my basement... I have some candy there. " me:"... mmmmmmmmm...... SURE THING ! yea.. now my question, will there be like Npc's thar robb you or something ? that "try" to steal ur stuff ?
What if all these updates they've been posting for months are just lies and in reality they've done almost nothing?
I can't wait to see this in-game! Looks really awesome. I can't remember to have seen that kind of NPC intelligence in a game like this before. Minecraft's NPCs were.... well. The villagers from Minecraft. Hubba Hubba, tradings emeralds for chickens, hubba. And the Terraria NPCs were boring, too. This looks great fun!
Nah, it's a dialect thing. I've heard plenty of people say do ya for where I live even if it's not "right."
Molly your street talk is straight up insanity. That said it's gotten the day off to an amusing start.
Neat. One thing I've noticed in a few screenshots, though, is that NPC talk is missing punctuation and/or capital letters. Is that a style choice as in "Follow me back to my store" (no . or !), or just in need of editing?
