how is it like to be in Japan? You are basically living my dream

It was incredibly difficult to adjust to at first, but once I got used to living here its absolutely amazing. The people here are very respectful and kind, my family is strict but caring, and the weather is really hot :3

And I spend to much time on these forums instead of enjoying my time here haha, although im flying back to Portland, Oregon next week to visit my real family for the summer.

That's great man. And stop lurking here indeed, you oughta enjoy that while you're there. Out of curiosity, how many of the japanese stereotypes did you find out to be actually true while there?

*shrug* People are people everywhere, and have all sorts of strange ways -w- I envy you honestly. Japan has a long and storied history. :3

Frankly, its those stereotypes that make me love this place so much :)
