Sometimes you need a little more gun. (TF2, for those that don't get the reference. A game I really need to get back in to playing.)
Fouuuuund it. http://community.playstarbound.com/index.php?threads/post-your-character.13343/page-14#post-477037 It was a bit longer ago than I thought. There are a lot more resilient threads than I'm used to here, quite sorry.
Taken care of well over a month ago, it seems. It's fine and all to not like a fan group, but it's something else to go off topic with personal attacks. Should've been removed, really. Maybe report the next instance, if it happens.
I want to give your avatar a slightly lighter background ;-; the hair blends with the current one too much
how about we simply stop derailisng teh thread and if we disagree with something he says we can message him?
That said, I don't really dislike most people on this forum either. But I prefer to keep my private discussions with people I actually trust.
"You started the thread out by insulting everyone who disagreed with you. " if it makes you angry ignore it, thats what i do.
It's not that it makes me angry. It's just that he said he wanted a friendly discussion but never actually bothered to try having a friendly discussion. It's stupid and frankly it deserves to be pointed out.
Oh my goodness you like smooth jazz? Finally, another person who would appreciate the background music of my room!
Actually that isn't a bad comparison. FFG's 40k games have two meters, insanity and corruption, which can result in, well, insanity obviously, but also mutation. And for both of them, if they get to 100, you lose control of your character and lose the game. And there's remarkably few ways to reduce either one.
There are ways to reduce (but not remove) the impact of insanity-inducing events (fearlessness, for example, helps you ignore insanity from mundane horrors) and corruption inducing events (much harder to do than insanity), though. They were removed in the latest game, Only War, to my amusement.
Even better! I hope I can convince a few friends to try it out. They're already afraid to play CoC with me, and the inclusion of Tyranids couldn't possibly help. Thank you again for explaining a little of the FFG 40k game to me, and putting up with all of my questions.
