Huh...I would never have thought having a spider or something similar as a pet would be manageable..

Low maintenance and look cool. Tarantulas are pretty cool, just gotta feed them and give them water every now and then.

Spiders and snakes are cool.

Most pets are manageable. They might sometimes have weird quirks but mostly they want you not to be a dick to them.

I don't have an opinion on snakes one way or another; however, spiders really freak me out.
