I'll say it like this: In all those 1056 playtime hours I don't remember ever getting annoyed or really bored while playing Starbound.
And I can say for sure, for me, definitely every error or crash I had was my own fault, a mod, or steam slacking off an update.

The one thing I'd really mention as a downside only matters if you are a modder.

I recommend it, especially if you're comfortable playing with mods. I can't think of any big problems that have lasted past launch.

Assuming your question isn't sarcasm:
I've only played for a shameful 382 hours at this point but every hour has been a hour well spent! The only issue I have with the game is that I had horrid FPS, but that's probably just our nowadays low-spec brick. (Haven't played for the past 2 months)

All in all, yes, you should get it. Do it now. NAAOOO!!
