A short list of things that would be cool to go into the vanity slots. Not sure how many of these would be feasible due to how complex they may be, but thought they might be cool Gas mask for the head slot Full EVA space suit Camouflage gear (with different colour schemes) Old Sea Admiral's Hat Pirate hat HAZMAT suit Full suit of Knight's armor (for lols) Maybe bring back the fish bowl hat from Terraria? Robe and wizards hat! Please add to the list or ridicule me for having bad ideas!
A full EVA space suit as in... Evangelion? If this comes to be, I'll never play any other video game. Ever.

I like the idea of HALO vanity items as suggested above, how about including the Marine/ODST armour instead of just Spartan? I also like the idea of the EVA suit, whilst traditional would be cool why not look at other designs? Planetes has a nice take on the EVA suit (pics 1 2 3) Other ideas going with the theme of space adventures... Cowboy Bebop: Outfits from the cast of the show. Firefly/Serenity: Some of the outfits? specifically brown coat, or Jayne's cunning hat? Aliens: Colonial Marines pack - marine armour, pulse rifle, flamer and bonus "I like to keep this handy... for close encounters" shotgun? 5th Element: Lee Loo's outfit
"See you, space cowboy.." An amazing series. But, I think the references are getting a little too vague, and not everyone is going to understand them. Terraria had Mario, and Indiana Jones, etc. They're iconic and they are immediately identifiable by the majority of the crowd that plays the game.
