Price?

What price would you make Starbound?
I would make it $30 but thats kinda expensive for a indie game.

 

It will likely be a large game, so it seems like a good amount. In my opinion.

 

$30? Hopefully not. You could buy the first 2 Mass Effects, first 2 Assassin's Creeds, or Call of Duty 4 at smaller prices than $30.

At best less than $25, more likely under $20. If it does reach the point to reach over $30, I won't mind supporting the Devs though.

 

Since it is an Indie game there will be no monthy fee thing.

Even though it will have a ton of content I think the Devs will want to keep the price pretty low.

And if it's on steam, it'll probably have a 10% release discount like most games do.

Well, lets think about it, terraria sold something like 1 million and 500 thousand copies, lets say steam got something like... 4 millions of that, (i dont think steam taxes are higher than 40% lol) and the devs got somenthing like 7 million dollars, for lets say... 1 year (a bit more) of work, i could'nt gain this is my entire life, so i think 10 bucks is a fair price.

To be honest, I don't think it was close to that much.

 

Last time i saw the number of copies it was like 1 million and 200 thousand, something like that.

 

I'd make it $400,000 for 12 seconds of gameplay.

I'm thinking probably around $20-$25. I'd be willing to pay $30, but not really much over that.
I wonder how long it'll take to get to it's first sale?
