1. When making a thread, please tag your thread accordingly using the menu to the left of the textfield where you name your thread where applicable. Server Advertisements and Mod Releases should be contained to their respective subforums.

Server Help Password / port not working

    Somehow I don't manage to change the port and put a password on my server.
    I've tried to modify the file default_configuration.config in assets, but it's not working.

    Anyone can provide information on the mater ?

    Try change the settings in the starbound.config instead, ie.: starbound/linux64/starbound.config

    Edit: default_configuration.config is only for to fill out default values, which later gets overwritten by starbound.config
