So... no massive thread for crash reports this time around? I was going to post this in such a place, but I couldn't find it.

It's happened a few times, this is the first time I've thought to save the log. Sometimes it happens when I beam to my ship, sometimes when I open a container... this time it happened a few seconds after picking up some loot from a chest that I took up with my matter manipulator (in an Avian Tomb dungeon, on an alien radioactive planet).

    Specs in brief:
    Windows XP, SP3
    AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ @~3.1Ghz
    Nvidia GeForce 7950GT 512MB
4GB RAM @800Mhz (physical, limited by 32-bit OS)

    DxDiag: http://pastebin.com/Ms1AKYqj
    Log File: http://pastebin.com/RUjzukmf

    *edit*
Forgot to mention... it has left a windows error message up once... pretty standard fatal exception stuff with a RAM address. This latest time (and most other times), there was no error message, it just quit back to desktop silently.

The only thing that seems to be an issue in your logs is an error with the assets. I'd delete the packed.pak file (in Starbound/assets) and verify the game through Steam to re-download it and see if that helps.

Thanks, will do. Won't be able to tell if it worked until I have another good two to three hour session again. This time it didn't hit until just shy of two hours playtime.

Are you still having this issue after the latest updates?

Haven't seen it since upbeat giraffe moved to stable, but I also haven't been running it from my XP partition. Not an easy error to reproduce even then, but I'll go make a lap around a (new) planet and edit in the resulting log file. I am a little curious to see if the torch asset problem is still there.

...sorry about the delay. Fell asleep waiting for it to update :\

Seemed to perform more smoothly than before, though I still get much better performance with the Linux64 version. From looking at the log, what performance issues it still has may just be a result of using my old save file. The asset problem that was (I assume) causing crashes and spawn point relocation seems to be gone entirely.

Safe to call this issue solved.
