What about ocean "manipulation" in a broad sense to liven up aquatic biomes as a whole? Red tide, what you commented above, oil spills, smoking underwater vents, etc...
It sound's plausible but it may be good idea that they occur naturally except for the oil spill maybe...
Holy dickings! I didn't even know about this, and I'm pretty sure I did something like this in a D&D campaign before. Since the game is 2D, do you think we'd need to have some sort of integration? Would this kinda stuff happen underwater and stuff? If we moved around in it, would it be manipulable?
