Note: My intention is to make as many machines as possible from Minecraft's IC2 mod into Starbound.
    Install Notes:
    Use this mod manager: http://community.playstarbound.com/...nd-mod-manager-now-actually-functional.42987/
    or
manually extract the "assets" folder to your "Starbound" folder.
NOTE: Make SURE you adde the " { "item" : "macerator" }," to your "player.config" file if it's not already there.

    What does it do:

This machine will allow you to crush your ores into dust which then can be smelted into bars. Its will double all of your mining.

    info:

I will add more recipes with all of the dusts later as well.

As soon as I can ad some sort of power source to the machines I will do that.

This mod WILL REQUIRE a new character (I'm trying to find a way that doesn't require a new character).

The macerator can be crafted from the anvil

    Authors Note:

I am happy to provide the community with this mod of mine.

A special thanks to "xdomiall" for making all of the graphics.

    Current Bugs:

IF you put in more than 1 ore it will produce a regular bar instead of dust (I will have to investigate this).

    Patch Notes:

    Version 1.1

    - Fixed a bug where the macerator could only macerate 1 ore at a time.

    Version 1.0

    - Added a macerator.

    - Added support for the following ores
    • Copper
    • Diamond
    • Gold
    • Iron
    • Platinum
    • Silver

    Firstly
    What does your mod do?
your post says absolutly NOTHING about what this machine does.
I guess it has something to do with ores because you support them.
Oh and its made on an anvil
    What does your machine do?

    Secondly
    please read this
Especially the section on adding recipes without modifying the player.config
It is much better to do it this way.

    From what I can tell by the picture and from what I think he's basing this machine off of it does this;
you put an ore in it and it crushes the ore into two piles of dust, you then put the dust in the furnace to get the corresponding ingot out, thus doubling your mining intake for rare or hard to find ores like agisalt and platinum.
It's based off of real machines in the mining industry, but more likely I think the idea came from the minecraft mod, industrialcraft...I could be wrong however.

Yes that is true. I forgot to write it in the OP. I though every one had played minecraft and just knew this already :p

The current ratio is 1:1. That means you smelt 1 copper ore into 1 copper dust which then can be used in a regular furnace to make 1 copper bar.

I'll add some more recipes with dusts and stuff later as well!

PacN, what caused the 1 item only problem with the macerator? I'm curious.

Each item and recipe has there own "RecipeGroup". The recipe group was set as "stonefurnace" on every recipe, so when you were to put more than one ore if ther game would read that as a "default" recipe causing it to make 1 bar of those 2 ores instead of 2 dusts.

    Do you follow ? :)

I see the logic, yes. Thanks for that, I'll probably run into something of the sort at some point while designing my new race.
