As you see my idea are three orbs which can be found on some planets but not all(obviously) Laser orb sprites! By Tctoocold! Orb A Found on threat level 20 or above low health low damage medium rate of fire laser Orb B Found on threat level 50 or above medium health medium damage high rate of fire laser Orb C Found on threat level 80 or above High health High damage High rate of fire Orb attack sounds are the same as the lasers in terraria(roughly!) If two orbs are near each other they will merge into an orbstack AB/AC/BC/AA/BB/CC Orbstacks have twice the health of the two orbs that made it by that I mean if orb A had 40 health while orb B had 100 The Orbstack would have 280 health and Orbstacks fire like the two Orbs would normally fire. Orbrulers are formed with three! Same rules apply for Orbrulers except their health is multiplyed by three! Here is an Orbruler :::Crafting+Drops::: Orb A would drop orb shells (VRARE) and weak laser module 50% Drop (Not laser gun but used to make laser sentry's and guns!) Orb B would drop orb shells (Rare) and moderate laser module 50% Drop Orb C would drop orb shells 20% Drop and high power laser module 50% Drop Orbrulers would drop orb shells 100% Drop and a piece of laser armor (But not chest plate) 10% Drop Laser armor auto fires medium power laser at nearby enemies! Orb shells are used to make orb sentry guns for guarding your base! Orb shell + weak laser module = Orb A sentry Orb shell + moderate laser module = Orb B Sentry Orb shell + high power laser module = Orb C Sentry Laser chest plate = 5 Orb Shells + 3 high power laser modules Laser helm = 3 Orb Shells + 3 high power laser modules Laser greaves = 4 Orb Shells + 3 high power laser modules You can also use the modules to make these items! http://community.playstarbound.com/index.php?threads/swords-nope-lasers.7698/ New You can use an orb shell and a laser module to make 10 laser grenades! So, I'm guessing these are inspired by the ads The Destroyer in Terraria spawns as you beat him up, in the way that they look. Anyways, looks like a pretty cool idea.
These would be a lot of fun as enemies, especially with their ability to combine. Any ideas as to what kind of items they would drop?
It says Orb A is green, B is blue and C is red, but the sprites show A as red, B as green and C as blue..
Yeah when I realised they where wrong I got real pissed since I had just come back from school and was in a shit mood but they are awesome sprites!
