Lets say you build on a planet and want to share it without creating a server. Assuming the planet has no mods, (allowing it to be compatible with the vanilla) is there a way to give your planet to someone?

I don't care about getting it back to see what they did to it.

Well, assuming they're on the same OS as you, and their universe is similar to yours, you could (in theory at least) pass along that planet's *.world file to them. When the game goes to generate that planet upon their first visit, it should recognize that a *.world file already exists, and load it.

Mind you, I haven't tested this personally.

you can also replace a planet like your a home planet file for example

    - you copy file name of the home planet (make a back up).
    - you delette it.
    - then you paste the .world file you want to share with ppl.
    - and rename it with the home planet name, you deletted before.

you can replace any planet you want ...

simplest way i can think of:
    share *.world file
    share coordinates and planet name.

    This does, in fact, work.
It's how worlds can be uploaded to servers. Alternatively, if the planet was already visited, you could simply delete the old file, and put in the new *.world file.
Though apparently the update made this kinda screwy or something, I don't know.
