    Scarabu! Somehow feel it has a certain power to it, lol.

    The name makes me think of the Vorcha from Mass Effect. Sounds equally scary.

    The avians are Mayan influenced.
    And yes, there are similarities.

    The 'Scarabu' will indeed be Egyptian influenced, to some extent. But of course I will be using other influences and things to differentiate them quite a lot. So no worries. :)
