Keep in mind that the Florans also reverse engineer whatever technology they get their hands on. Their ship may have a plant-ish design to it, but that doesn't mean it is only made up of plants. Merely a design choice.

It would be awesome if the Glitch ship looked sort of like WH40K ships with them being the medieval race.
