Should their be a Difficulty Selector when making a new player/world?

    I already made a thread called Difficulty Selector but I couldn't figure out how to add a poll when editing a already posted thing so I making this. ( Sorry if that spams the forums )

    It's a poll for if you think there should be a selection of choosing a choice of Newbie, Easy, Medium, Hard, or Master for your world/player's world's difficulty. And this selection would be after you choose easycore mediumcore or permadeath ( I still don't remember what their called... )

    It doesn't HAVE to be Newbie, Easy, Medium, Hard, and Master, I just put that there to say my idea

    I can get behind this. I've envisioned difficulty being tied to mob strength, resistance and AI, and possibly ore / loot distribution and rarity. A custom difficulty might also work. Say, if you're more into building than combat, you could have pushover mobs and lots of resources.
