I found this chicken underground in this room anyone else found this?

 

I wouldn't turn my back on that chicken if I were you.

 

Its eyes glow in the dark.

The chicken, a beast no one could ever tame, a beast that only hungers blood, blood of anyone or anything, glitches are the only one safe since they do not posses blood, but not all of them are safe from the agony hidden behind those red eyes and then seal them away underground, hoping for it to never find the light of day ever again.

that is....Until a foolish starbounder mine a hole in the seal...

I've played enough Legend of Zelda to know where this is going...

 

If you attack it with a flamethrower, it drops an item called "Fried Chicken". You can collect it in a bucket if you have one.

 

Do not make any sudden movements and DON'T PANIC. Ah who am I kidding......RUN!!! Run and never stop and never look back because the moment you slow down even one bit, it will be all over you and your character will experience unspeakable horrors....after a while you may start thinking you're safe, that you lost it....you must fend off these thoughts at all costs. The only way to banish it is by running through and escaping the place of unspeakable horrors from where it came.....or so the legend says anyway, but not who wound up in its sights have ever been heard from again.

So the Chicken Conspiracy has come to Starbound. If you play Minecraft and have hung out at the forums a while, you'll understand this.

If not, then what the Chicken Conspiracy boils down to is that chickens in Minecraft are in cahoots with the hostile monsters, notably acting as spies for the Creepers.

 

That's just a mechanical chicken. The Glitch raise them on their farms, but I must admit I've never seen one underground before.

These aren't supposed to be there! I you people always find cool stuff?!

 

They shoot fire it killed me

 

well, still cool they're from the sewer mini dungeon

 

Weird, right? They appear in both the sewer dungeons and these little microdungeons.

 

The only amazing thing that happens to me is when the freaking meteors start crashing and i flee from them, or when i do a perfect block on a giant one.
