Hello! Here is my submission for the monster contest! I'm quite proud of it. I call it the Temporal Spawn. Please tell me what you think! A little feedback goes a long way. Almost a lightyear, in fact. (sorry for the image size, my scanner scans things real big) These are some of the forms. Its original form is the one on the top-left, but it will never stay in that form for more than a second before morphing into another form. The Temporal Spawn comes from an enigmatic clockwork planet in the outskirts of the Universe. It has the ability to transform into different monsters from past (pterodactyl, mammoth), present (snake, angler), and future (robot, alien)! When it knows its first tactic isn't working (or it can't get to you), its body will retract back into the face and it will grow a new one. Obviously it can hurt you if it comes in contact with you. But each form has a different ability that makes it special. The Mammoth is considerably larger and more powerful, and it has a ramming attack that can break through certain walls. The Alien can generate little fleshy blobs and throw them at you, EUUUGGH. The Snake is faster, and the Robot can turn its arm into a machine gun! The Pterodactyl and Angler can fly and swim respectively. This creature can encounter you virtually anywhere and comes in a small variety of simple colors. However it is quite rare, and in addition, although somewhat overpowered, it is moderately easy to kill, so you might have to encounter it multiple times to see all its forms in action. This is because of its weak point: the clock face. Attacking it everywhere else will do less damage. Also if you're lucky you can give it a good melee strike between forms for MASSIVE DAMAGE.
