thanks its really helpful! but sadly the size isn't easily fixed. Sai wont re-size the pixels with out blurring the whole thing to hell. so I've been using print screen, but I cant really tell how big that will make the picture so... as for the recolor thing, I rarely do it. its just to create a quick example of different colors I promise I wont do it too much anymore

xD yah I know it was a quick mock up. kinda a proof of concept. also I donno if I should add a stinger? or should that be a sorta option when creating the character? like a tail option. on another note, should I add wings? I thought about it... but I kinda felt it would basically squish the overall looks? maybe its just me.
Stinger looks well, but I think it may be optional if you want it so. Wings... well, there's the only way to find out

Nicey But the veins looks more alike on plant's leaf than insect's wing. Example: Also, maybe more contrast for veins.
