You've just taken..

.. your first steps on an unknown planet, you've just begun playing and your home world was destroyed by an unknown enemy. Set to recover as you have currently few basic tools but no armor or powerful weapons, you've landed on this site as a hope for resources.
What do you do? Where do you go? What would you do first?

I'd probably do what I know how to do best! CHOP WOOD!
Then I'd explore for a nice strategic location to build an affordable wood block fortress, and prepare for the worst!

 

I would find friendly koalas or penguins and with their help conquer the world.

 

Any good Glunaught such as myself, Big Band, knows that the best places to explore are crystal planets. A stunning beauty that reflects it's faces all around. It helps us see the beauty of the world around us. I might build myself a little outpost there if I happen to be exploring in the region any time soon. Other then that, sit down, relax, watch the crystals glow and bring whatever I can back home. A happy Glunaught is a Glunaught with a bag full of precious crystals.

 

Hope the one that you land on has Friendly Koalas or penguins. There could be an evil band of ruthless, thieving penguins on a planet, bent on stealing your pixels!

 

I will go chest hunting. I will worry about shelter later.

What if you go too far and run into native's that have a higher-power level than yours?

 

Are they hostile?
If so, then I would moon-run (New term get!) my way while shooting the natives.
If not, then I would just ignore them.

You've just landed after your homeworld being destroyed and you have no equipment.

First, you usually have access to a large range of health and other buffs.
Secondly, you have a human mind, not some crappy artificial intelligence.
Thirdly, they're usually set that high to intimate players, or just to indicate it's a boss.

 

Strategy, every sayian has one.

 

Then I guess that I need a change of plans. I wouldn't leave without my five Mindwurms, that's for sure.

I dont imagine there's a lot of wood on Crystal planets, so first stop would be to go get materials on a nearby planet.

 

How do you know you're going to land on a planet with crystals?

Every Glunaught keeps track of where all nearby crystal planets are. Plus, if I landed here, I would have the choice, right?

I'm unsure actually, I guess we'll find out when it's released. I assume your ship is damaged from attack or something rather and you stop by a planet for repairs. Who knows, the possibilities are endless!

 

Is it illegal to bump?

 

Personally, I'd harvest some sort of solid block and build myself a base, whether it's "stone" (quotes because there might not even be stone) or some sort of wood.
