I would create a new feature called "Challenge Planets" (I do need help with the name.) There would be different kinds of planets you play in which are either preset or randomly generated depending on what setting the creator left it at. Most of the Challenge Planets created by the developer(s) will come with the purchase of Starbound while others would be added by future updates. Some challenges would involve being in a a randomized planet with either limitations to certain items or replacing regular mobs with stronger and untamable mobs. Others would involve a time attack obstacle course which involves reaching the flag (finish line) with some challenges like finding ways to get past mobs without using guns, swimming your way to the goal with only very few air pockets, some platforming skills and more.

...A fan can dream.

mining alot? slightly faster mining.
spend alot of time underground? slight vision increase

I would release the biggest and best ideas from the community as updates,
but if it is super cool I will release it as a cheap DLC.

I'd finish the game, start some drama, and fade into history.

 

I would include skill trees... Not armor, but our skills determine what we can do. Soldier can't cure serious wounds, neither medic can fight huge battle...

 

I'd cry in the fetal position because of the weight of everyone's expectations.

 

Well let's see... first thing on my schedule would be to grow a large, manly beard complete with upper lip hair. Unfortunately due to my rather Scottish attitude you would have to deal with me adding deadly, man eating wild haggis and various other Scottish inhabitants; this would include Nessie.

I'm not joking about that Scottish part though, I find it hard to control myself when it comes to my country.

 

The game would be horrible and never invented cause I am a lazy crap.

I would announce that beta would be released on a certain date, then release it the day before! (it would be semi-closed, as in you must have some amount of activity in the forms and do some kind of quiz)

 

I would add cake. loads of cake.

 

chocolate cake icecream cake, anything.

 

I would make my dream game.
