Your thoughts on the final mission? [SPOILERS]

1. Ick.
2. Stupid swarming goshdarn bat enemies.
3. You basically need quad jump to get to the boss, or be able to build under stress
4. You could say that Asra's plan... was ruined.

 

Spike Ball worked for me, I just rolled down the sides with no problem....

 

The core itself is a pushover, honestly. If there was a bit less time between its attacks then it'd be a lot more challenging and fun. For now it's just all about knowing where to stand during the underwhelming 4 attack long cycle.

 

Having followers and a big bird pet (healing collar) took care of the monster spawns for about 3/5 of the fight for me. would say that it was a challenge though

 

When my friend and I landed on the thing, it took us a whole loop and then some around the surface to notice that it indeed loops and we should probably dig down.

 

funfacts:

there are regular birds on the planets stratosphere.
There is the regular asteroid layer above it too.

if you stand on slime stuff and dig it lose you can stand on it and it softly elevates you down to the core if you are at the bottom layer of the outer crust.

 

Yeah, about that. I think that squishy stuff should at least mitigate a little fall damage, but that's off topic. Did anyone else try to dig the brain? Also, I think I'll make some Squid Jelly lights. That stuff is ominously intriguing, but is that a bubble or another eye?
