    That's the .monstertype file. I have that. Inside the file however it asks for
    "partParameters" : "minibossquadruped.partparams",
    which is where the game stalls and crashes, and I don't have that asset file.

    Updated the mod, made a new character and quests aren't appearing at all.

    If replacing the file didn't help I have no clue. You do delete the old folder before you put the new one in correct? I know copy'n over an old folder may cause issues.

    I never had an older folder. This is in the mods folder in the user assets folder, and I didn't have any mods prior installed on this computer. The file calls for an asset that doesn't exist in any downloadable versions of the game and I have genuinely no clue how anybody managed to get it working.

    You may actually be misunderstanding my problem.
    "minibossquadruped.partparams" is the file that the minibossquadruped.monstertype calls upon, and it is the former that is missing. The latter has always been intact and is not the source of the issue. It calls on an asset that isn't included in the download which should break literally any game it's installed in since it's the same thing.

    Something odd: When I flat out deleted both of the ground monster folders, the entire mod refused to load. Nothing modded, YSC or another otherwise loaded, and everything in-game was vanilla.

    You said something earlier about putting the mods into the user assets folder, right?

    Can you explain exactly how you installed the mod and any others you might be using? It may help other people here figure out what the problem is.

    'Cause the way I have it set up, the file path where you put the mod... It's Starbound > giraffe_storage > mods. If you're installing it from any location other than the default mods folder, I'm not sure it would work properly.

    Also I'm pretty sure that the partparams file is supposed to be a part of the vanilla game in packed.pak, and you wouldn't be finding it anywhere in the mod files unless the mod itself was modifying or adding to the parts that monsters can be made of(which this mod does not do; it simply uses the partparams stuff that's already there), so if you deleted something from that it'd probably mess things up.

    Otherwise, your game files might be corrupted and the file can't be found or read properly because of it - either way I would recommend you completely reinstall the game's files if at all possible, and see if the issue persists.

    Someone told me once that sometimes switching from Unstable to Stable and vice versa without completely reinstalling can cause issues, and that may very well be the case. I'd say reinstalling is worth a shot to get it to work, even if it's a pain. That way, if it's really an issue with the mod, then we'll have more information to work with.

    If I'm just misunderstanding everything greatly, I apologize, I just wasn't sure what you meant when you said that thing a few posts ago and thought this information might be of use.

    EDIT: Re-read your most recent post and realized you meant that you deleted the MOD'S ground monster folders. Just saying, deleting folders like that and expecting the mod to run properly afterwards isn't really going to work. It's kind of like making a card house and then taking one of the supporting cards out and expecting the card house to not fall apart. Or maybe it's like a far-in game of Jenga, where it's POSSIBLE if you know what you're doing, but there is a very high risk that the whole thing will come toppling down.

    The entire problem was because I had no clue where to put the mods, and didn't find a single thing via Google :badpokerface::facepalm:

    I deleted a folder because I was grasping at straws, and could reinstall it if it just flat out broke.

    It's fixed now.

    Unfortunately I seem to have a completely unrelated issue now that's probably not related. It's saying it can't read a variant value in /player.config:humanoidTiming. No such key.

    Honestly? I don't know what it means, but I do know that just deleting files to get something to work - as I mentioned earlier - isn't generally the best practice. If it's a file from the mod itself, it won't regenerate itself just by running the game - and if it's from the actual game files, you'd have to reinstall to get it back.

    Try redownloading all the mods fresh, then reinstalling them. If the issue still happens, then take out all the mods except this one and see if you still have problems. If you DO still have problems, then it is indeed an issue with the mod or how you've installed it, and things can be worked out from there. Otherwise, try adding in the other mods one at a time to see if it happens when one of them is added.

    I buyed this game a week ago and played normally without any mods and i don't have problems with coordinates, then i discovered this mod and started a new game(i deleted all the previous save and world files), but now i can't find any coordinates working.

    This mod changed something about the coordinates or i doing something wrong?

    I don't have any other mods, sorry terrible english.

    I encountered something with the last update this morning - the Heart Forge is available at the Research Station once again; but though the recipe for the Toymaker's Table is in the files and looks correct - there's no listing for it (or its object name 'holidaycraftingtable') at the Station.

    Small thing: Please make the 2nd version of the crew (where you get new spawners like the fairy) like the nprmal one in terms of npc movement (5 blocks). They are running all over my place now.. ;)
    Also: Could it be possible to add another set of spawner where you can craft racial specific specialists? Like a hylotl scientist or an avian chef or so? Purely for populating special rooms, the could be normal npcs, but i wish they would look like they had professions. Maybe they could be named "assistants" or something like that.

    Btw: This mod is pure love! :coffee:

    I'd like to pin a minor bug.
    'crewmatespawner.object' does not contain a reference for "crewflashlight2", which is "Stronger Flashlight" (uncraftable now). Supposed fix: add "learnBlueprintsOnPickup" : [ "crewflashlight2" ] to crewflashlight. Also maybe a 'legendary' rarity for "crewflashlight2" to differ it from a previous upgrade?

    Btw, is it intentional that you can't really get outside of your crew outpost?
    I see (on 1920pix 2x zoom) an "Infinity Express" booth on the right side, but no possible way to get to it. The outpost is "dungeon-protected" and have all "normal" exits sealed by outpost walls. E.g. try to walk far right and you'll pass the airlock doors, only to bump at solid indestructible beam.

    Love the mod, the only problem I'm having is with the new crew outpost. I lag really badly when I'm in the main lobby of the area, and I don't typically have too many problems with lag.
