Anyway, as of Indignant Koala you should be able to. Not sure if Offended Koala disallows you to due to some bug....

But to the point: it should show up as an option on any crafting table (not sure why it's not just the robotic table). They require Durasteel bars, I believe. You have beaten the Dragon King boss, correct? Without doing so, you won't be able to craft tier four armor,..as far as I'm concerned.

As of now, no, there is not. Unless they added that in Offended Koala and didn't tell us in the patchnotes, I don't believe there is a way yet.

I have a question regarding planet generation and seeds.

Okay, so we all know that everything about a planet is procedurally generated...however, at the same time, all planets in the universe are accessible as virtually the same planet to other players, due to how the planets are seeds.

So does this mean that literally everything stays the same on Planet A for User B as it did for User A? For instance, the generated monsters, the chests and what's inside of them,.etc.

I'm wanting to know this because I plan on helping the Starbounder Wiki with their planet guide. Thought it would maybe be worth suggesting that we should add the crops and items and such found on the planets as well (perhaps as extra details).

 

I'm pretty sure that's how it works; after all, there's a coordinates thread that seems to have the same planets for everyone.

 

Hello, I have recently purchased Starbound off of steam. I own a MacBook Pro/Mac OSX Version 10.7.5 and when I start up the game it always crashes. Is there anyway to fix this. I have went on the forums and it says it is not compatible with 10.7.5. Please if you could give me any information on how this could be fixed, or if/when you will release an update that includes this fix.

I have beaten the Dragon King, but I can't still see anything new in the crafting table. *sigh* On my hunt for blueprints then...

 

Speaking of the dragon king, what's the best method of fighting him? I've tried twice to do it like a man, but both times he's conquered me. I have a powerful sword and the highest level armor for gamma sector that I know of.

I had this same issue, and it can be resolved by updating your OSx to 10.9, which is free off the app store.

 

Can you board someone else's spaceship on multiplayer?

 

Is there a place that you can see what the game has in it not just the updates?

Why are 'legendary' weapon so terrible? I mean, I've got crappy tier one spears better than them.

 

The weapons aren't properly balanced yet.

 

One more question:

Is it worth building a base on any specific planet? Up until now I've been placing all my structures on my ship so that I can travel a bit more freely between planets without worrying about not having access to X crafting table or Y stored item. Are there any benefits to making a more traditional base that would outweigh the downsides?

 

Where does the game file save? I'm building a new PC tomorrow and I'd like to copy over my save file. Yes I know about character wipes. Thanks!

 

Is the manipulator supposed to be this slow? I counted, it's about 10 seconds to mine gold. 10 seconds of just standing there and holding LMB. I'm assuming multiple players make it go faster but I'm playing alone.

 

You shouldn't be using the matter manipulator very much. You really just need it to get enough wood and stone to build a crafting bench and then a stone axe and pickaxe. Both of which do their jobs much more effectively than the matter manipulator.

 

K, I have a very petty question that will likely get removed about a day after its asked, but does anyone know the Co-ordinates to an Avian/Floran Town that Sells Avian/Flora Clothes?

 

Would you guys say full makeshift armor and a titanium hammer is enough to kill the bone dragon? Because I tried with normal armor on a previous character and got completely destroyed. I'm hoping that since I've pretty much got the best craftable equipment for the sector I'll be better off.
