Rarely. The last one was only a couple of weeks ago.

Will weapons use ammunition or will they all be energy powered, or a combination of the two?

I actually just checked out the roadmap again today I hadn't since i first signed up. Pretty cool way to update the progress, however I like the daily updates better even though they are not always real daily :). Anyway on to why i'm posting, and I hope this isn't addressed somewhere already but if so I have not come across it. I have several PC's and would like to be able to play with my son when the game gets released. I would like to take advantage of the reduced preorder price but wanted to be sure I wasn't gonna be breaking any rules making by making a second account with the same credentials. Again sorry if this is addresses already and thank you in advance for any information.

Ranged weapons will use only energy.

Could you clarify what kind of account you're talking about?

Will we be able to get enough bad rep to ally the bandits and will we be able to find bandit camps sense there are villages?

I'm sorry. I had confused this developing game with another in my head and was asking you guys about how to get two copies at the lower pre release pricing. Question is completely irrelevant. Starbound, Kerbal, Godus, and StarPoint Gemini 2 all developing at the same time, exciting times and I got a little loopy. Sorry bout that guys...

This isn't going to be an MMO is it? I liked Terraria being able to be played in single player or multi-player with my friends...
I've been trying to keep up with the posts from the main page so i'm not SO sure whether or not it is MMO or not

I don't believe it is MMO exactly. Check here in the section on Multiplayer PVP and Servers.

Well they already did state in many places that this isn't going to be MMO, but maybe if you make a large large server you can make it one?

So I don't mind reading topic pages in the forums.... but sense this one is 87 pages long I don't think I'm going to read EVERY page. If this has been asked or answered please link me to the information. Anyways I would like to know, will there be food in Starbound? I could see food giving an out of combat health regen while during combat you could just use medkits.

There will be food, each race has it's own recipes and as you travel you can learn the other races recipes as well. I believe they will heal you and provide buffs in some cases. I can't recall if you know all your races recipes from the get go or if you only know some.

While you could make a Massive MP server this will only be as close to an MMO as Minecrafts Shortbow Network is. Someone could run a server for a ridiculous a mount of players but their is no official chucklefish main server or anything like that. Single player and small servers will be supported.

As a side note you may find some talk of a pay2play even server talked about by a dev or two but IAFAIK that was just some brainstorming from being asked about DLC from a magazine and not set in stone. That might make it more MMO like but you are not forced to play on the event server or anything.

No problem... Just avoid glitch food, I managed to chip my tooth eating some nuts and bolts cereal.

Yea, for real. I get the concept of eating food, but it doesn't quite mesh with the glitch. I dunno, maybe they have some bizarre explanation as to why robots need organic food to survive. Or maybe they convert food into raw energy? much like humans? lol?

So Terraria had progression. In that you'd destroy the Wall Of Flesh, unlock hardmode, and get the best possible gear by becoming strong enough to defeat the Golem. Does Starbound have a distinct linear progression like that? Or will it just be aimlessly roaming space?

There is a main quest line you follow to unlock the tiers (and more of the galactic map from what I have heard). Since Starbound has it's story I would imagine something along the lines of an Elder Scrolls game in terms of progression, you can just wonder about aimlessly but there is a main storyline as well.

Undoubtedly Starbound will be an enormous game and could potentially hold a lot of material for one game for our computers to run despite being a 2D platformer, so my question is that how will Starbound run with people who have not so great computers/laptops? and how fps intense will the game be?

Not really known at this time, all we do know is it runs on a old macbook air (forget what years model) at 60fps with no optimizations at the time.

So has there been any info released on sleeping, in regards to whether or not it skips time? (I.E Night to day)

Or any other time skip mechanic implemented currently? (excluding admin/server controls.... it's just a jump to the left...)

Last I saw, sleeping increases your health regen or something. It doesn't skip the time, though.
