On the subject of size, is there a depth limit, or any weird gravity mechanics concerning? Can you dig to the other side of the planet, or will gravity cause you to fall up and down forever?

  2. If you dig down far enough you'll probably either reach the core of the planet or end up on the other side of the surface, since the planets are round.

I think it's already been said that you'll be stopped by some kinda impassible barrier at the center, whether it's a planet's Core, or something else.

Before the game comes out, is it a possible way to pre-order Starbound using iDeal, because that's the payment method i use in the Netherlands? Because I would love to pre-order it before it reaches Steam.

Anything that has lowercase 'i' as first letter in its name poses security risk. Get Paypal, bro.

Currently, the methods are Paypal, Amazon Payments and Google Wallet. Maybe in the future?

That's atleast what i hope, i just asked him in the stream of Bartwe, he told me i has to go via his personal then

  9. It is the question of Humble Bundle do not support them. But hey if Tiy get what he said true, when BETA is up, Pre-Order ending, you can get the game on Steam with much accessible payment forms! :alien:

That would be amazing, but i would love to support them before it comes out

So I read in Blue's list of confirmed whatsoevers that Stairs are "fully interactable". I'm just wondering how that's going to work.

Is it gonna be like Castlevania, where stairs are kinda treated as background objects but you can press up to get on them?

  12. Far I see on the gameplay it is like Terraria, down to leave them, up to jump onto them... I don't quite understand the fully intractable stairs far what i've seen in streams. :p

Yes, it looks like that's exactly how it works.

We know that the game will have a temperature gauge, but Im curious as to exactly how it effects gameplay? Obviously the player is negatively impacted by temperature extremes, but in what ways? Are there different stages you go through as you get increasingly cold and hot? Or is any of this actually set in stone at this stage?

  15. Set is stone surely not, at least not that we know. We just see the temp meter around, but we can assume that will be normal things, like damage, or walk slowly in cold temps, etc... It is very likely some gear will have bonus to fight both extreme temps hot/cold, that can add another layer of gameplay that we can't explore certain places without some equipped gear or tech for it!

I don't know, if I'm right here to ask a question but I will just ask it here :p

I'm from germany and I want to buy Starbound. It costs 15$ but is it 15€ or 11€?

I hope you can help me and I don't asked it in the wrong place ;)

Probably 11 if that's the proper conversion. Pretty sure it's automatic. The transaction is handled through paypal, amazon, or google wallet, whichever you prefer.

I'd imagine that it would impact where you can go and where you can build. Maybe some building materials don't do so well in certain areas (some metals insulate poorly). Maybe you have to wear bulky winter gear in the cold, and energy-hogging exosuit in the heat.

So far, temperature only affects the player. Only cold is dangerous, presumably you die if you get too cold.

I am not sure if this was asked before, nor would I know how to phrase it in the search function.

When I saw this it raised the question, will they operate like Sims characters and fulfill out their own needs, build, explore and expand.
Will they fight or ally other organized groups like them but different in nature, and will these settlements have personalities, like economic focus, or domination?
