Since they're probably going to be just for the story for the most part, you probably won't be able to farm them.

Story you say? Then they'll hold starship parts or it will be a quest to kill them?

Hmm, if the space is nearly infinite, how can we know that that planet is a planet that created for just a boss for the story? (Worst Question Ever:lod:)

As I said the boss might be part of the quest. So, we'll know that boss is there. Maybe...

If not - that might be longest campaign in history of mankind

At least, I hope bosses won't attack your starship... Maybe... :sneaky:

There MIGHT be space battles - probably later - so...don't put fragile things near table edge

The game has a story and I'm pretty sure there are going to be some premade planets for the story.

So, we're going to get those planet coordinates from storyline quests?

Probably. But, the devs haven't actually done the story part of the game yet. What I've said is just based on their talk of what they plan on making the story like.

Why you change programming language? Why C++, not c#? (terraria was written on c#, yea?)

I can think of several reasons:
    1) Terraria was created by a different team (Tiyuri was a part of it, but still - different team). I think Chucklefish can not use terraria code for copyright reasons.
    2) Although game mechanics may look the same, the underlying technologies (like world generation) are very different. Therefore, most of the code should be rewritten from scratch. There is no need to reuse old code and therefore stick to C#.
    3) C++ is many times faster than C# (because it compiles into native, not .Net code). Such massive game in C# would run only on top computers.
    4) It is hard to make C# game run smoothly on Linux and Mac.

So a bunch of friends and myself had the idea of each picking a different race and going off to our own planets, terraforming them to suit our respective races, and then going to kill each other. Me, being a fishy person, chose Hylotl, and while I am very much ready to grab a bucket and start flooding whatever unfortunate world I find by hand, I had to wonder, will there be any sort of large-scale terraforming available? Like, say, Spore, where you'd pretty much have the ability to bomb the planet with a mountain or an ocean? Perhaps nothing so spectacular as that, but that general idea anyway.

Not like this, we know that we'll be able only to transport NPCs to planets, nothing was said about bombing or flooding planets. But it may change!

I have another question. Will the robots need oil? Or are these the type of robots that do not require lubrication because when thier parts move it does not create any friction?
