I can't recall where, but it was confirmed that planets would have either molten or frozen cores

Right now, all we know is we should be able to customize weapons to some degree, but as for using our own textures.. that's less likely. You could always mod your texture into the generation, though, so it popped up in various places?

 

Awesome. That's a good way of dealing with it then. Although I wonder what happens if you mine out the entire planet except the core. lol

Another thing I'd quite like to know is if there will be the possibility for floating structures. I'd realy like to build a Waterworld style floating (or semi floating) water city. Or even the option of hovering cities, possibly kept up with rockets (I'm thinking the flying fortress from Sonic 2 style! Either of these would be really cool. Especially if they sort of bob up and down by a pixel or two to show the floating effect. That would be awesome.

 

Will planets have diseases or sicknesses that you need to find plants or animals to make medicine for? If so will they be randomly generated also?

 

Will There Be Character Customization? Kind Of Like The Terraria Creator, Or Will Make Your Own System?

 

They want to give you some sorta customization! it will be slimier to terraria i think they haven't released any screen shots of it

Most likely not. I think the price estimate at the moment is around $10 - $30. The devs deserve some money for this game.

as of right now no tiy im pretty sure tiy wants everyone to have a equal copy of the game they still haven't said anything about later in develoupment when they are done we will have to wait and see

How does the endgame compare on this game Terraria's? I know the endgame for Terraria was not the best out there, after all what do you do after you have everything?

 

The "endgame" will probably be completing the main story line, but you will probably still be able to go get more/better stuff after that and continue exploring planets.
You will not have/get everything in Starbound.. Probably ever.. lol.

It is.Each Item can have a wide variety of differences , if you count them all you'll probably get more than a million items.
There are 21.000 different sprites only for rocket launcher ( ).You can pick 2 rocket launchers witht the same visual and they will be different.Much like in Terraria where you could have "Divine" weapons , "Thick" armor etc...

 

There will be a end game but if your looking to collect all weponds there will never be a end game wepond because of the way the abilities system works.
You can have the 2 of the same gun with different abilities

 

The differences betwen items wich are the same will vary around a base value , so you will have end game items.
Ex: you find a normal end game wep with 100 damage.
Now you've found a broken version of it , wich reduces the damage of any wep by 70% , so you have the same wep but with the "broken" prefix and with 30 damage.
The same wep with a prefix that adds damage will have the base damage + damage from prefix.

 

Will there be racist more then what "we know"? (it would be quite fun to do Easter egg in the game...would be interesting if there is a pink panther or well-known easter eggs)

To the topic of NPC soldiers, mercenaries, and other armies unites. Is there limited NPC armies can be hold on too?
