I have a question;
Exactly how guided will the main quest be? For example, if a character(let's call him jim) is lost on a planet, will the instructions for the next task be;
Go to Planet 5 and Find Jim
Find Jim
Search Planet 5 for survivors
[or] No clue as to what to do, but hints from NPCs.

 

I have a couple of questions.

• Will tamed creatures suffer from permadeath, or will they just "faint" (i hope they don't die forever... )
• Can you give names to the tamed creatures?
• Can you give your character unusual skin/hair colours? (green, blue etc.)

 

Giving names to tamed creatures would be AWESOME

 

Will we have houses with cool items and such like Animal Crossing?

 

What are the different environment types for each planet and region within the planet?

 

We don't really know yet, but We've seen Ice Planets, Forest Areas, Deserts, Space Stations, and even a tentacle planet!

 

They should have permadeath. If you can't handle having a pet you need to accept that!

 

When do you think you will release it to the public?

 

What is your vision on how players would chose a planet to their homeworld? Would there be more to it than just the overal look of the planet itself or is there more to it?

Yea, but, I think there should be permadeath. Might be exploited if not.

 

I see what you mean, but it could make battling them against other players too risky to be worth training them up for so long. Plus I'm an utter wimp who would probably start crying if he lost his precious pet battle-frog. Do you think it would be fair if you could only revive them at the space station? Possibly for a fee?

...I need to stop being such a softie...

will be in game advanced video option? anti-aliasing, anisotropic filtering, dx10-11, shaders, physX, hbao

Different races were confirmed, raccoons were not.

One question: what happens if you manages to go outside the atmosphere of a planet, straight into space?
