Your perfect planet, and its back story.

A planet that was a city from one end to the other. It'd be a lot like Coruscant from Star Wars. That's why the "real" reason I go away and deforest planets is to supply my slaves citizens friends with luxuries

This planet is made out of other smaller planets. Once, 5 planets had an impact that was so hard, that they all became one planet. It has neither trees or citizens, just dust, darkness, and bugs. Noone knows that it exists and it's in the darkest corner of the galaxy. Then, the NASA discovered this planet, and tried to let trees grow there. They wanted to make Death Life on this planet. And they successed. But then, a danger appears. It seems like the bugs on this planet don't really like the machines the humans've built there. So they decided to destroy them. But they didn't know that the machines were radioactive. They mutated to monsters. Some had over 20 legs, other had wings. Some mutants even have mandibles that can slice a tank into two pieces, in 1 second. So the army decided to sent the marine to this planet, to kill all the mutants! But suddenly...

My ideal world...hmmm. My ideal world is a place that's very ALIVE. Thick vegetation, animals everywhere, that sort of thing. If plants are something we can place and farm, I'll be growing alot of new species from across the galaxy as I find them, as well as rounding up wildlife. My base/home will all be underground, leaving the surface of the world a wild, untamed sort of place.

 

Giant planet made of sand.
With two suns.
And creepy little things that wear brown hoods and get killed by things called sand people.
And I'll get shot in a bar.
The planet will be ruled by somebody called Jabba the hutt.
While some kid goes out and finds an old man who kills things with a glowstick.

My real perfect world would be...
A planet made entirely of green plains and green forests with flowing water.
My own little home in the green prairie on the perfect hill.
I'll watch as the sun sets and watch through my window as the planet turns into a subtle sleep and all the frolicking animals in the plains will go back into the forest to sleep.
It will be the perfect paradise.
And I will live there forever.
Just don't go underground in it.
Or you'll find out what the planet originally was underneath...

 

id say my perfect planet would be a permanent winter pine forest with like streams wildlife birds penguins etc and an huge river that leads to a huge lake with a little island in the middle with a log cabin and a small area of plain in the middle of the forest with a tunnel to a underground complex of tunnels and treasure but there are also many earthquakes so be careful

 

technological planet. oil oceans. power towers instead of trees. many mechanical and electronical parts rotating and moving around. heavy dark clouds with red thunders and black oily rain. metal mountains and small ice-cold blue star instead of bright sun.

I want a dark and creepy planet. From far, it will look purple-ish, and it will have dark creatures watching you, and I will make a damn palace of infinite doom on it, then I will a few Gentleman style touches. Because you can only be completely cool when you have a top hat and a monocle.

 

My planet would be distorted and mind boggling,its gravity will be constantly changing and the ground with be shifting at all times... Its plants would consist off tree like plants which follow you while your not looking at them and glowing mushrooms...
The creatures would be Sneagles (snails with wings like my avatar) and man eating bunnies...
The only intelligent live excluding the Sneagles would be Steam-punk like robots...which will also eat you...

 

Imagine: You land on an old long abadoned planet everywhere are just ruins and radiation has contaminated the air, but there is a cave and you can see light coming from that cave. As you go deeper and deeper into the cave you can spot some grass and flowers and after a while you drop down in a massive cave, full of animals, all kind of plants and some refugees that took shelter in the caves because of the war that raged on the surface of the planet. Thats where I want to live, I want to live with the refugees.

I want to live on a rock! But not just any rock! It's rock that is covering an entire city. The rock is like the police box for the TARDIS, so Inside this rock would be A massive Jungle/Forest, and Everyone would have a Crusoe like house. (a gigantic epic tree house) It would be a great community and there'd be epic parties every friday! PARTAYIN! I SAY PARTAYIN, EVERY FIRDAY!

I'd definitely love the obligatory fire-ice planet. It used to be completely engulfed in fire and flame until an ice age obliterated most life and froze the planet over. The few creatures that survived learned to adapt to ice. Now the ice age is beginning to end, and fire had repossessed one half of the planet with alike creatures.

 

I don't know if this would be my "perfect planet" but one that would be really cool to see is one with drastic changes from freezing tundras to blazing deserts with only a few spots of moderate climate. The landscape would be (preferably) completely connected with only a few lakes and rivers. The way the change happens would not be a gradual effect that has some sort of moderate spot in between, it would be completely immediate. This would make it possible to have a snow covered forest juxtaposed between a desert and a arid plain.

The history of this planet was that is was a terraforming accident. An old civilization found this planet and tried to terraform it, little did they know that Plot Device A (I'll leave this one to the developers if they like it) would be in effect and they then screwed up the planet forever.

This would be dangerous to terraform because of Plot Device A, and if tried before investigating/exploring the planet, the whole thing could become uninhabitable. This would also mean that there were other planets that could become uninhabitable through terraforming (low % chance of course) if one didn't explore/investigate.

 

A steampunk world in the middle of poverty, resources scarce and enemies/raiders relentless. I, will be one of those, but a bounty hunter.
Wow, I'm cheesy. ._.; I just think the idea of a world in war would be a fun world to reside in.

This planet has an ocean with freezing cold water (well, it's actually water with some crystal sparkles mixed in) covering the whole thing, but then floating above it are tons of shattered, floating crystal caves and islands with lots of unobtanium inside helping it float.
The backstroy is that the planet was too big and with all the energy of the crystals it sortof formed a semi-explosion-semi-vortex and shattered all the land, allowing it to float upwards.
Now if you fall into the waters below without proper equipment you will freeze to death in approximately 0.89461 seconds.
