Your perfect planet, and its back story.

Imagine a world of foreboding cold, oceans encased in thick ice and land encapsulated by snow so packed it is like stone, broken only by fields of volcanic vents and geothermal geysers, whispers of the rich magma fields flowing beneath its surface. Beneath the earth, subterranean life would flourish, casting away the desolate surface for the warmth and richness of the geothermal marvel. Upon this planet I would plant a seed, and from it would grow a facility so isolated, so impregnable, that nothing could dare to disturb the great scientific minds at work beneath the frigid landscape, defined by domes of ice like massive waves frozen in time.

 

My perfect planet would be one made simply of hyper dense gas. The closer to the core, the denser the gas, so when you walk, it feels as though you're in water, or a sludge of sorts. It would feel like walking on pillows, or better yet, jello. My perfect planet would be filled with ancient and once though dead creatures that were resurrected by odd new elements constantly being introduced to the planet, due to it's size, and thusly gravitational pull. The Novakids would call it home, and it would be bright, and beautiful, and scarce of too much violence. I would call the place Cepa Acquitem, and there, with the Nova, I would thrive.

 

All you need to know that is my planet doesn't wear a shirt.

 

My dream planet, (no name as of yet)

my planet would be jungle infested where light goes through the leaves giving the planet a moisture rich green feel like the jungles in Terraria. it would have small bodies of pure light blue water. the grass would be long and covered with dew, there would be average sized caves with their entrances covered with vines making them invisible to the untrained eye. the wildlife would be common consisting of lots of small reptiles and insects but the planet would be quiet with the rare squeak of a gecko retreating as you pass its tree. the background would be dense jungle foliage and tall trees reaching to to top of the screen. the planet is rich with common ores as-well as rare ores found deep underground near the underground jungle world held secret by an extremely strong quartzite layer almost indestructible by any other forms of terraforming other than diamond tipped diggers almost impossible to be used safely inside the jungle due to the extreme oxygen ratio causing very low temperatures to cause large fires that could completely ruin the planets ecosystem.

the planet was only discovered a few weeks ago after a stranded ship crashes into the dense foliage leaving a small but deep hole in the ground marking the crash zone. there are remnants of the very footsteps from that pilot engraved in the shallow sludge of the undergrowth, therefor making homes for small insects and various critters in the mud. the cave is quickly overgrown and now home to many high tier reptile and insect predators. the lonely pilot is in unknown condition, likely been devoured by the environment or lost in a cave waiting to be swarmed by carnivorous bats that lurk in the crevasses of the wet caves.

A dark, barren planet, hiding great riches under the surface...more the reason to plonk down a giant factory and dig everything up, eventually creating a whole mining colony to populate the once silent clump of earth.

 

Any planet that has a dull lifeless boring surface, but it's caves are filled with undergrowth and monsters.

 

A planet that is made of an old giant space cruiser that has had millions of meteors landed among it. Bringing with them live and growth. after millions of years the cruiser is at the core of the now much larger planet trickled with jungles of endless variety. The meteors would bring with them different kinds of plants and wild life that would evolve to become jungle based although still keeping their own identity.

 

My planet will be covered by forest full with wildlife, both beautiful and deadly. Precious resources will be far and few between on the planet giving other people little reason to visit the planet.
Towering trees will cover the landmass of rolling hills. And deep seas will surround the landmass. And somewhere in the dark depth of the bowels of the planet will be my secret high-tech lair. From here I will plot where to go loot, pillage and plunder next.

Probably a magma planet that has a volatile atmosphere. I'll be playing a Novakid, so the gases shouldn't bother me Make some sort of volanic rock fortress on there- though I think the minerals on that planet would be hard to reach. As for the back story, well... I guess it's a recently formed planet or something. Other wise it wouldn't be so gassy and lava-ey

 

I think a very stormy, dark planet covered in thick forests. It is pretty much always raining and the canopy blocks out most of the light. There would also be some scary carnivorous creatures about. Also I'd want some kind of mystery to get to the bottom of, like people have tried to colonize it a few times but everyone has disappeared without a trace...

 

What was a nearly destroyed lava planet,in a solar system with tripple blue suns.. 5 Moons on it.
I converted the entire planet to a watery island planet,with my main base underwater in the deep waters of the planet. With the 5 moons converted each to be a Mighty utopia city. With most of the pepole on the server,living there and shoping.

 

Archipelagos abound this planet named PACIFICA has many small land masses formed from large underwater volcanoes. However the land masses are covered in very deadly Flora and Fauna and any habitations slowly get eroded over time due to the toxic nature of some of the plants (think Catachan home planet warhammer 40k). The oceans are also very dangerous and cover most of the planet but are the better option for setting up shop. After Crash landing on the planet a Young Hylotl male finds some scrap washed up on one of the bigger islands and makes a rudimentary boat to start navigating the planet. Upon witnessing one of the super volcanoes erupting and forming a new land mass he has the idea to harness the thermal power. Thus begins the building of a fairly sterile and functioning underwater research and exploration station powered of the underwater thermal output from the volcanoes. Not only does it keep it warm in the deep depths of the ocean but provides inspiration for all sorts of cool steampunk esqu type things. Upon further exploration of the planet he soon begins to realize that this planet harbors a dark secret......... but to get the answer he needs he will have to travel off world and plough through the many many tomes of knowledge and history gathered by the sentient races.
