Your NPC names

There 'ranks' such as space hobo or poptop farmer. You progress by earning points by getting likes and what not.

 

I'm thinking of going with Molestation Turtle which is my Steam name. That or xXxXxTurtlexXxXx. Not sure if legit though..

 

I don't think "Molestation" Turtle is something they're going to add

 

If I remember correctly i have read a dev saying that probably all NPC names will be capitalized.

 

Post things and get likes. Or do anything else that gives you a trophy. (or was it achievement?)

 

For the sake of ego, I submitted my own name. I really hope that the NPC named after me will be somewhat useful.

 

So I went with TurtleYo. Now to wait for the moment in the game where I can go "OOOOOOH That's me! That's my character name! ON AN NPC!!" -screenshots- -posts to every forum that cares-

So yeah, today was a good day.

 

I put Smitty Werbenjagermanjensen because its one of the best names on this planet.

Also, he's #1!

 

There actually was another threat for this. Two I think.

I'll reply the same way I did there.

 

Definitely went for TheHammeredOne. Been my online personality since forever. Plus, everyone always gets to TheHammer first! Hopefully there are taverns out in this universe (perhaps in the Novakid areas since they seem Old West themed?) and that my NPC is spawned at least once as a barkeep somewhere.
(I still promise my name had nothing to do with drinks, it just worked out well that way!)

 

I used my real name, Jeremy McNulty. My friend is going to get Starbound and I haven't told him I've done it. Hopefully he runs into me and gets a kick out of it
