-gets sliced and diced by a propeller trap-

    -loses all pixels-

-takes a long time to click esc to exit game-

I've spawned next to a mini-boss about 3 times, this is ridiculous.

    capybaraluver Great Scott!

When I beamed down on my first level 5 planet and a miniboss instakilled me. I then beamed down again and trapped him in a box, rather than killing him I made him my pet and put him in a large glass exhibit. Built my first house on that planet until a pesky giant meteor came a destroyed most of it. I sadly had to put him down when I packed all my stuff and left :(

    You sir are a genious.

This threat makes me wish this game had some gore to it. Just imagine seeing people get blended by traps as they warp down.

well you should play in public servers more often then lol

I've already met the propeller trap that has you 1hko die on warp and the creator even boxes you in!

The first time I ever beamed down onto a Tentacle biome planet.

At first I was like "What. In. The. Hell. Is this some hentai lover's dream planet?"
And then the music started playing. And now tentacle planets are my favorite.

Inside a bloody hill. I had to dig myself out, pain in the ass I tell ya!

  10. Mizuki

    Mizuki Subatomic Cosmonaut

I beamed into poison water. It was covered in metal so I couldn't jump out.

That is what happened to me!

  12. Draksis

    Draksis Void-Bound Voyager

My most "WTF" beam down was landing in the middle of an avian village (one with a big market area), and all the guards started freaking out, all talking to me at once, cause my weapon was selected.

Wow, I hope they implement a threat indicator spawn system to prevent this from happening after Beta :saywhat:

  14. LordQ

    LordQ Scruffy Nerf-Herder

I've had a few strange spawns. But the cake has to go to the first (and last time) I went to a Moon biome, interested in seeing how running out of air works. I had read that they're lifeless worlds without even any vegetation.

...Lo and behold I spawn inside a sprawling Glitch village. Which almost makes sense since they shouldn't theoretically require air, being robotic and all.

  15. Itami

    Itami Star Wrangler

the worst was spawning down into one of these small tech-bunker thingies that always contain 2 shielded robot guards.
the lovely thing about that incident was that it happened on a planet in a sector that i just recently got to, so pretty high threat level for a poor guy with a low level armor ...
long story short, i got raped.
sometimes i feel like starbound likes to troll me with stuff like that sometimes xD
another time i spawned directly IN the poisonous water of those bunkers that hold a tech chest... very nice too^^
didn't spawn directly in lava yet, but i guess i can achieve even that some day xD

  16. Akiflyer

    Akiflyer Astral Cartographer

Beamed right on top of a fanatic's altar, who then proceeded to stab me before the animation was even done.
