Your most 'WTF' Beam down Moments.

Beamed down to get frozen almost instantly, but not before the handful of mobs lurking around smacked me across the screen

 

I beamed down into the bottom of an Apex parkour lab. Right next to the reward box. On the bright side? Free Pulse Jump tech. On the not-so-bright side? World generation bugs ate the entrance to the lab with magmarock. And I only had a copper pick.

Took a long time to work my way back to the surface and then dig my way out... only to promptly get pounced by a mob and die.

I wish I'd had the forethought to save the coords of that world.

 

I spawned in a wall.
I have no idea how, but apparently, air and water can be very solid

 

Just hoping around the Alpha Sector looking for a suitable planet to make my home. One of the planets beam down to had it's beam down site in the middle of a dungeon, two guys immediately started to shoot me. Thank god I levelled up before starting my search.

 

First character, Beamed down into acid rain , flying poison gas spraying bird-bats and very angry spikyphant things

 

I've run into one of those. There's absolutely no way to avoid them, which makes them a pretty big bug; those planets are effectively dead because there's nothing you can do to explore them.

The whole death at the bottom of asteroid fields is stupid anyway. I have a spaceship that can pluck me right out of the air, why am I dying from falling into empty space?

 

spawned down onto a miniboss, who proceeded to whack me across the screen into a fricken glitch house thingy, where they attacked me, fun!

 

I like placing lava or spikes on the spawn point when I'm playing with other people.

 

I can't say I've ever been befouled by a poor spawn.
I've spawned in a nice wave-like alcove cave before though.

 

We think alike. I like you.

 

I just a server earlier today, and beamed down into a mushroom village.

From root to cap.

Yesterday I beamed down into an apex village. More specifically... I beamed down into the basement of the apartment complex... where the thought reassignment center is. I landed right next to the operating table. I slowly put my weapon away and walked out.

 

I beamed down into a crowd, in the middle of a city.

Everyone turned to me, and GREETED ME ALL AT ONCE, AUGH -- I beamed back up and never came back.

 

When beaming down into a strange/dangerous situation I am always reminded of the old T.V. show Quantum Leap. "Oh boy..."

You are probably the lamest person alive. But whatever, this is awesome.

 

I concreted over the beam down point which was a base with a lake of poison. A nice layer of reinforced steel will stop me falling I to that, I thought. Only trouble us when I got killed later, where did I end up? Yes in the poison water in a steel box. Epic fail!
