i used to always walk around with dynamite but after the 3rd time i accidentally blew up my house and all the npcs i decides to stop.

 

definitely a gun, most likely a one-handed one that way I can wield a shield/sword in the other hand. Gonna keep a digging tool handy, as well as the build gun as it seems to have multiple uses. And of course some light sources to stick while while spelunking

dynamite was in that slot for me.
instantly killed half the golin army.
instantly destroyed half my house.

 

Avenge your house by killing the other half of the army!

 

i went one step further than that and trapped them in the basement.
then threw dynamite in.

 

You evil, evil being! Those goblins have families.

I'll bring a shotgun,a viking axe,pickaxe,ladders,dirt,grenades,flashligt,torches and some random block.

 

Light source, tools, weapons, misc. In that order.

 

Hmm, a fiery sledgehammer of doom, 3 laser sniper-rifles with multicolored scopes, a blood leeching +3 enchanted icy katana of darkness, high explosive C4 with acid splattering perk, a skin peeling automatic flamethrower, homing napalm rockets

...and a camera for making pics with my new friends I meet at the various planets

 

The few good uses for dynamite

 

I like your choice in weapons. Photography devices, too.

 

Right Hand: Shield
Left Hand: Shield
Rest of Hotbar: Healing Mechanisms and Explosives

The Ultimate "Come at Me" Build

 

Like Terraria, I'm going to have my weapons select first. A ranged for right and melee for left. I hope you are able to scroll easily through the hotbar...

 

Terraria: (not this order) Preferred weapon, Ranged weapon(if not already on preferred weapon), mining tool, hammer, axe, dirt, rock, potions, whatever else.
Minecraft: (whatever order) sword, whatever tool needed for what I'm about to do, cobblestone, dirt, torches, food.

 

a nerf gun and an ear of corn.
as the nerf dart shoots towards you, you flinch.
then I shove the ear of corn up your nose.
I always win.

 

There are much more than a few good uses for dynamite, friend. You've just got to be creative

 

Probably Shield and a Spear.
-Sometimes you just need a little less gun. Or no guns, whatever floats your boat.
