I'm not entirely sure what Biome I want my home planet to be, but crystal seemed pretty cool. I think it will more than likely be a "OMFG!!1! This place is amazeballs good lookin!" type deal.

 

Island/Water World because I'm a Hylotl.
I'll build underwater temples and training grounds for the future generations of space ninjas.

 

A planet that has the Glacier Ravine biome. Would be all interconnected through the ravines and mine tunnels.

 

Well, I have few needs
Because Ill cover every last meter with steel and chrome buildings. Then Ill call it Trantor
Of course, I would like it to be the largest size possible and as many minerals on it as possible

I don't understand why the op didn't make it so we can have multibiome base
I would want it to be a medium island with a jungle on it that has a desert and a flood of magma just underground mixed with a forest....yet I can only choose one

 

This is exactly what I want for my Homeplanet. And if one of my friends came to visit me I would place some lavapits and release some creepy monsters, just to see them running around and crying .

 

People certainly do like their crystals
Personally I've gone for island; I just like the though of setting up a nice wooden hut overlooking the ocean.
I didn't see mountains as an option...I would have gone for that if there were.

 

A pacefull Forest planet with many trees and a cool lake will be good for me .

Volcanic and hellish, with lots of orange and red hues in pallete. Then I will terraform it into jungle or, at least, botanic garden world.

my home-world is going to hopefully be a lot similar to earth's prairie region, although a tundra is also very tempting. my homebase is going to be underground though, so i don't think i'm going to be seeing the surface much...

 

I went for the desert area. The only problem is the sand gets into my robo-undies and then I can't move my legs, but it's a small price to pay to keep people off my rock. Making it look as inhospitable as possible is the name of the game for me so I won't be interrupted while I continue to rattle off pi past several undecillion places. The last digit is 2.

 

I want either a gigantically huge planet, or the planet with the most variety possible. Or- OR a planet filled with tentacle rape and crystals. but no crystallized tentacle rape. I'm okay with a lot of things, but not that.

 

Giant underground city in an asteroid. Featuring a black market in which I can use to trade my wares.

 

A type of planet that I refer to as Twilight. Where there is no day cycle only night with a moon and an off colored dusk. Which would be purple or blue ish. The plants would be biolumancet with purple soil, blue grass, purple or teal leaves on a sooty grey barked trees. Later on I would bring in ice and snow and put it on a high mountain range if it's not there already. My home would be a large gothic castle carve into the mountain over looking my farm lands. Inside at some point I would collect lava and craft a hell forge with only the lava as my light source.
