Your First Goal?

My first goal would be to find the creatures that won the Monster Monster Contest (hopefully mine )

 

First goal: find the cutest, most harmless creature I possibly can, capture it, and train it (mutate its DNA? hopefully) into a vicious killing machine. And name it Bibbles.

 

That sounds absolutely epic.

Anyway, my first goal will probably be to explore the tech tree, particularly the engineering technology. Most likely I will not be happy with the first drill and more then likely I will want to see what other tools I can get....

 

I want to catch all the penguins. All of them.

 

I would probably be thrown into a level 100 planet knowing my luck haha I'd walk one step and die

 

find the coolest looking weapon ever

 

Come up with a decent charecter name.

 

I would be looking for whatever mechanics there would be in the realm of organised, automated transport/processes that you can build yourself. Especially if there is anything remotely like train/rail mechanics. I would be ALL OVER that as soon as possible because I love trains.

 

Hmmm, you know that would actually be kind of cool. Minecraft sort of had a way to erect a basic railway system and it was something Terraria might have been able to benefit from...

 

.__. I like trains.

 

I'll want to focus mainly on building up my base. Really looking forward to seeing what I can add to it.

 

Mine a bunch of valuable ores and build shiny things with them 8D

 

My first goal, hmm, I probably make a house first. BUT THAT'S LAME! So, I'd probably go to the center of the planet and than build a home.

My first goal would be to dig a hole and hide in it. Then, build a house around it, explore and wipe out all life on the planet and dig out every useable resource, then move on to the next planet! They call me... The Planet Breaker!
But seriously, I would look for a planet to make my homeworld first, colonize it, make it a beautiful green planet covered in trees and lakes. And penguins. Lots of penguins.

Hmmm, a few of you bring up a good point. I wonder what the colonization mechanics will be like.

 

I hope we have to mine and stuff to start off, id hate to just be given a bunch of powerful tools. I want to start off as basic as possible.
