Hmmm... Tiers... It would be honor to have something with Chucklefish team autographs but it could be very hard to make (think about thousands of people in this tier). It would be awesome to have some kind of gadget (figure, poster, t-shirt or even box for CD of starbound that could be used to store CD with steam backup just to put it somewhere on the shelf ^^ ). BUT it's probably really hard to make, expensive and could take too much of your time. So i think soundtrack would be great with some behind the scenes showing how Starbound was becoming real and how team worked on it. Maybe some words from all of you to the camera? Also some concept art etc. could be great as a reward for paying more than minimal price

Yes. We would all love this. I personally like the fact that you will not be using in-fame items/content as a basis for the tiers.

As far as delivery system; the two familiar to most people are probably steam and the humble store, and these would make the most sense, seeing as how they already have the infrastructure to handle the load of that amount of downloading. I would suggest that you have a direct download from you guys (your server, or maybe one dedicated for downloading) just so that people who aren't familiar with steam or the humble store an easy option. Having all three would also significantly decrease the bandwidth load (at least for the initial download period) for your server, and let you avoid some of the 30% fee from valve (if that's a big deal). I'd also say that you'd want to include keys for the other methods in each purchase (e.g. the humble orders get steam keys and can make an account here, or the people who bought it here get steam keys and humble keys... i'm not sure if humble does that, though.)

Very much agree! And for a tier system, how about one of those punchy-drones, or maybe a signed poster by you guys. Possibly the largest sum contributed could get... YOUR SCARF?

You guys will make so much money that you'll quit developing this game and go sailing around the world on a yacht with your trillions of dollars. jk , whatever you can do to get the game in our hands faster. My whole guild is gonna buy copies as soon as its possible. We all want this game, as it sounds many times better than stardew,minecraft,terraria,and edge of space. TAKE MY MONEY.

I am totally okay with this. I would pre-order this game faster than you can blink when I'm made aware of the pre-order option. As for reward tiers, I'm not sure what I'd want, but all-in-all, the pre-order system you got going on sounds like it would work just fine for me! And the fact that it would help you guys release the game faster while simultaneously making your lives easier is something I can definitely get behind.
