You know what? I'm saving my money from my birthday next weekend for this, and since the game itself is going to be cheap, and I want the soundtrack like crazy, and you guys deserve so much more money than whatever the pre-order will cost, I would love a tier thing. Just take my money right now.

Tier Reward: I like the idea of a Soundtrack and artbook. Maybe fulfill some hat/monster contest entries (probably a longshot)? Only well after official release though! The donator can submit their forum name at purchase...or something easier.
Beta: Will I be able to port over the things I acquire during the Beta into the official release? This may make or break playing the actual beta for me...or maybe not
Pay Type: I have a little extra wallet money on Steam gifted to me that i'll pass at least a some extra down the line. But I will open an account anywhere to get my hands on it!!!

I will pre-order, and as soon as possible! I am so pumped for this game, wish I participated more in the character creation easter egg puzzles, but oh well

 

A soundtrack sounds lovely! I love game soundtracks I would most definitely preorder and pay extra for that.

I think A pre-order system is a great idea! I'd pay extra for the soundtrack and art book or even a tee shirt if you did that sort of thing.

 

Due to my credit situation, I'll ONLY be able to preorder through Steam. I have complete faith that this will be a great product, and I hope that those who preorder through Steam can get the same benefits as the ones who get it here.

As for preorder incentives, I would recommend
-Game Soundtrack
-Discount
-Free game
-TF2 Hats (This alone would make this a best seller. Some people buy $60 games JUST for hats)
-In game items (preferably cosmetic or early access to certain items)

Physical Merchandise is a bit more complicated (I don't think it's even possible through Steam), but I would recommend an Art Book or Posters.

 

You should add an option to receive physical versions of the wallpapers, or perhaps create an expensive one to collaborate with an artist and create your own set of monster parts to be put into the generator.

 

How about some exclusive in-game items as a pre-order bonus? Even just a few hats or unique weapons sound great to me.

Well, I have been waiting for a post like this from you Tiyuri... My uncle and I are going to buy Starbound when any form of the game comes out; pre-order sound good and i will most likely (along with my awesome Uncle) buy this pre-order. As for payment methods I think PayPal is the best way of paying for anything on the internet.

 

i would pay extra to play early.Ill give 200$ to play right now

 

Rewards I would like to see:

- Prints
- Art book or Dev diary on how certain things were put together, early iterations etc.
- if its not too expensive small maquettes
- perhaps another feature video
- for very high tier reward maybe a personal costume, or personal flag or emblem.
- a real life TIY scarf

I will buy the pre-order even without any of these. My personal preference of sale would be steam wallet/paypal.
