Notice Your Feedback on a preorder

Sounds awesome I would love to be able to pre-order Starbound. I really want to support you guys however I can. I also think that anywhere in 2013 is good so long as you don't rush the game to make it come out sooner. As for the kick starter ideas I really like the idea of naming a star. I also think it would be nice to get a little vanity item like a special hat or something. that's pretty much all I can think of.

 

It sounds like a great idea. I personally like the digital delivery, makes things easy.

i would love to do a preorder too.

Just make sure to accept paypal and give steamkeys once release.

Also, if you do tiers, I would like to have an option to buy a cheaper 4-pack, so i can give them to my friends.

 

I totally support this! If at all possible, I'd like to be able to pre-order through Paypal or Steam. Any way to do it would be fine, though.

 

Now this seems like i good idea. People getting their hands on it early so ideas can formulate at a time that they can still be implemented. And as for rewards, perhaps a creature you design being put in the game if you donate enough money or maybe pre order only cosmetic items.

I would preorder with as much extras as I could afford. Paying with PayPal/checkout would be nice.
About the timeframe... Maybe a bit vague for potential buyers who are not actively following Starbound's development but totally understandable for me. If setting a date could mean rushing development or extra pressure for the team, then scree dates.

I'm all for preorders with beta, or just preorders in general.
Most of us would probably be happy with just a preorder, even if it didn't come with beta.

I would totally go for a preorder, and I'm pretty sure my brother would too. I would prefer to pay with credit card somehow (not PayPal), but in reality I'm gonna try to get it no matter what.

I'll preorder anyway, but I know for sure alot more will preorder when they see a solid release date. (and it's not 6 months off or something)

2013 is a tiny bit vague, Maybe stating a Quarter of the year might be better. (Or that's just me wanting more release info.)
And on the matter of payment info, I like Paypal or buying directly from Steam.

I love the idea of a pre-order, and would absolutely pick it up. I echo concerns about the wider release window, however. Once you start taking peoples money, they might start getting antsy about the release time a lot faster than they might otherwise. Right now we're all just filled with expectation. Take money and it'll be expectation with a sense of entitlement. If you do decide to go for a pre-order, I'd hope to see a more precise and firmer release date go with it.
