You said no rollbacks anymore but you lied to us

Since most of people who bought it aren't active playing, I think nobody gonna care.

 

I keep reading the OP's post and the more that I read it, the angrier I get and I know that I shouldn't because he/she is obviously not worth the anger that is residing inside my brain, but to say that something this petty "ruined your Christmas" just makes me weep for humanity.

Think about all of those poor people out there in the world who don't even have a home or know what it's like to have Christmas. What you've said is so much more than insulting to all of those who have no idea what having a family or life is like, let alone playing a video game online. Shame on you.

Damn, and i've just decorated my custom ship, all those nifty vanity items and armors are gone...well, at least it gave me an excuse to use other ship mods, since these ones are now empty

They did warn us. Then again, not everybody bothers to either watch the streams or visit the Starbound reddit, because it's been known there'll be a new patch for about two days.

 

They never said that, they've said they would REDUCE the number of roll backs. Also the "no more roll backs" was for a future system they wanted to implement.

I am actually not sure if you're trolling.

EDIT: I really think we should request this thread to be closed, it's pretty apparent either this person didn't read what the beta stages are, or are just trolling. Regardless of which, it's just hate spewing and hate spawning.

Seeing that it was slated to be an update that included Christmas items and decorations, it would be suffice to say, I personally deducted that it would be out before Christmas. Therefore, today or tomorrow.
As for warnings, and such... no other game warns before posting a patch (except for Don't Starve, which literally had a countdown counter.).

Also, if you launch Steam in Offline mode, your games won't auto-update. So you can keep playing the old version if you do that every time. Although I think you have to log on, to then log offline... so, might be tough.
