WIP You fly that thing? You're braver than I thought.

Still a whole ton of work to do, but I thought the community might get excited. I know I'm pumped, and I'm proud of my work so far.

 

Looks promising for a new ship, I hope Starbound supports multiple ships soon. There are so many good mods on here it is hard to decide.

 

Cannot wait for this to be done, looks amazing. Any chance of other SW spacecraft in the future? Parts of this look like it could be adapted to the Outrider, since they are similarly built YT series ships.

Actually, I was thinking an Imperial Lambda Class Shuttle might be appropriate next, for all you Imps out there.

 

Anyway, i hope to have her up and spaceworthy in about a week. I plan on redoing all of the interior art as well as finishing the exterior. I also plan on figuring out some custom spawn furniture as well. It would be weird to have the ship just be empty. I'll update here and on reddit as work continues.

Outrider for the win! the Falcon is great, but It is honestly so rare, not to mention the outrider was WAY more customizable.

When I used to play the miniatures games, and do text-based RP, I would always use one. I even drew up my own edited schematic.
Sorry for the rant there, Please finish this! Looks great and more importantly, it looks to be a feasible ship for practical in-game use.

 

I'm going to bet that most wouldn't from the side, as someone else pointed out. After seeing this, I started to pour through Wookiepedia to see what others might fit the StarBound side-view feel. The possibilities, given the right artistic talent, are kind of endless.
