Starbound is awesome, how can I -not- make fan art of it?!​

It makes me feel all: ​

So the first that I've done is based off of the lab screenshot (and the sprite sheet of characters?) and that happy bouncy raptorlizard! I can't draw animals to save my life and I realize that there's a number of things wrong with this image, but comments and crits welcomed, encouraged and appreciated! I love feedback and am always trying to improve! ​
