I'm glad to hear we may see a version that works with Upbeat Giraffe soon, even if it isn't from the original creator. As I haven't been following this mod very closely, what's news from him? Is he abandoning Starbound? Or on a temporary hiatus?

 

If you look at his profile he said he was leaving for grad school, I have tried reaching him to no avail so it is unlikely he still browses the forums.

was in a short talk with him and he told me that the Theta mech is under work and it loke good . Give him some time and he will get it working , trust him^^

 

The theta mech is almost done, some graphical glitches with the laser. Now he is working on the Rho mech.

If he did it be a pain in the ass because of how many mounts there are...

 

Pretty sure the guy who did StarMount said he was going to continue it eventually.

 

Doing it by hand would be insane, yes. Fortunately, there's absolutely no reason to. If you figure out why one mount broke, the others probably broke for the same reason, meaning you can automate the process of fixing them. The real issue is in the small details.

 

Modmods would still be kosher, right?

 

I've been desperately trying to contact him so that I can release a new version with additional features down the line, it doesn't seem like that will be possible though.
